With the recent announcement from Fortnite saying they would be launching a concert series, creating a new tour stop for artists, we thought we’d take a look at the current profile of Fortnite players across the USA. It seems like it was a good call, Fortnite fans were 1.9x more likely to attend gigs (pre-COVID) and 36% regularly stream live concerts. Girl Gamers top activity on YouTube is watching music videos
In the USA, 93% of Girl Gamers visit YouTube in an average month, making it their top social media platform. Of those who use YouTube, 52% are on it more than once a day. Their top activity on the platform is watching music videos followed by TV shows or clips.

Time spent on Social Media is just as high as Traditional Television
When looking at media consumed for 30 mins+ in an average day, Traditional Television remains the top media channel across all 5 countries. However, when looking at the Global Average (46 countries), time spent on Social Media is just as high as Traditional Television, both at 77%.

Disney fans are 1.2x more likely to follow an artist they like on social media
There are 84 million people aged 16-64 in the United States that are fans of Disney. They are a young audience, with over 70% being under the age of 44. Nearly two thirds of this audience stream music. They mainly listen to artists that are well-known/popular, however, enjoy the process of discovering new music.
